2017/2018 Travel Tryout Dates

Rotterdam United is excited to announce the 2017/2018 Travel Tryout Dates:
  • June 21st or July 12th at RUSC fields from 6:00pm-7:30pm-Girls of all ages
  • June 22nd or July 13th at RUSC fields from 6:00pm-7:30pm-Boys of all ages

Tryouts will be held for all age groups for the upcoming 2017-18 travel season.

It’s hard to imagine while finishing up another very successful year of soccer that tryouts for next year are approaching quickly. The newly formed Rotterdam United has had an extremely successful first year, we have numerous teams closing in on championship seasons in Divisions One and Two in both the girls and boys age groups. Our Girls U14 Premier Team captured the Eastern NY Premier League Championship title in its first year at an elite level and was also a semi-finalist in the New York State cup in which they lost 2-1 to the eventual state champions and have advanced in the New York Soccer gotsoccer rankings to a position of 16 in New York which is the highest ranking achieved by the club.
We are very proud of all of our player’s accomplishments this year as there are not many clubs in the local area who have experienced the success we have had as a club over the last 12 months. We are currently evaluating coaches, coaching techniques, formation of teams, training methods and facilities to ensure our players have the necessary tools to grow as players and become even more successful with the playing aspirations. We are also strengthening our relationships with top local school programs and coaches to make sure our players have the opportunity to develop and transition in the school programs to continue their development and success. We also understand there are other options available to families from local “Premier” clubs but our goal is to continue to develop and offer a program that offers extremely competitive soccer while also being affordable to our families within our community.
We would like to thank the families and players for a positive first year with the new club and hope to continue to offer new and innovative ways to help our players grow as we continue to develop into the 2017/2018 season and hope to see all the returning players and also welcome the new players to the club.
